:.Are you interested in bird watching beyond your backyard? Early May is prime time for bird watching in the Monadnock Region. Join Jim Moulton to learn about bird identification methods and how to use field guides and optics. Students should have a curiosity about bird-finding and identification. No particular skills needed. Class will consist of two parts, a classroom session on Thursday evening and a field session to apply your new knowledge on the weekend following. There will be some light walking on level terrain. Students will need binoculars for the birding field trip.
