  • Are you aspiring to become hired as a para-educator?
  • Are you a para-educator working in a school or district who needs to pass the ParaPro exam?

Join us for a newly designed Paraprofessional Training series! This innovative training based on best practices will include five 90-minute in person sessions, online work, support for ParaPro test preparation including four optional tutoring sessions, and administration of the ParaPro test at the culmination of the training (test fee is additional). Participants who pass the test qualify to become a certified NH paraprofessional (by the NH Department of Education).

 Training topics include, but are not limited to: roles and responsibilities, communication and collaboration, building relationships, encouraging student engagement, leading small groups, differentiating instruction, classroom management, confidentiality, professional ethics, and special education.

Classes will meet from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on the following dates at the Keene School District’s PD Center, Door C3, 227 Maple Avenue, Keene, NH. Out of class assignments will be expected between sessions and math and English tutoring will be available.

Testing dates will be announced during the class and will take place in July.

The cost for all sessions, test preparation, and online support is $600. Sessions will run from 4:00 – 5:30 pm and begin on May 14th. Click on the button below for more details and to register.
